Our approach: What insurance do you need and when?

The life sciences market is diverse, with many different businesses starting up from a variety of different beginnings.

Whether you are starting as part of a University project, a Life Science incubator or self-starting with an idea and a team we know the needs of start-ups vary greatly, and they cannot always be neatly categorised.

Our approach is to start by recommending the insurance covers you need from day 1. In Stage 1 (pre-clinical),  you are not overloading your insurance covers (and costs) with unnecessary coverage.

As your business/idea develops, so will you’re insurance, as you’ll need to protect the business from the increased risk you take on. For example, in Stage 2 (Clinical), we may need to run clinical trials (Clinical Trials Insurnance), look for additional funding (Management Liability), or protect your Intellectual Property (IP Insurance).

Finally, when you business enters Stage 3 (Commercialisation), you will need a full suite of insurances to protect your business, patients and data.
